There are three plan periods over the course of the summer consistent with the RIC Academic Calendar.
The Summer Meal Plan offers Residents the opportunity to visit DDC and purchase up to 10 meals per week, 每个星期, 星期一至星期五, for the summer period(s) they choose.
There are 14 meal periods (opportunities) 每个星期 for one or more meals to be purchased, with the exception of the weeks in which there are Holidays. One to three meals can be purchased during any meal period, up to a total of 10 meals 每个星期.
Unused meals do not carry over to the next week. At the beginning of 每个星期, your meal balances are reset. We encourage Summer Residents to plan their schedule accordingly to maximize their use of their meal plan.
Flex Meal Points can be used in DDC during service hours and/or in on-campus vending machines. Flex Meal Points are a convenient way to purchase additional food and beverages for a late-night snack or for Holidays and weekends when DDC is not open for service.
Flex Meal Points do not carry over at the end of the plan period and refunds are not available. This plan offers the opportunity for full meal plan utilization. We encourage Summer Residents plan accordingly to maximize their meal plan value.
